We're working to end slavery in Tevinter. We're - elves, most of us. A lot of slaves are elves in Tevinter, and - you know - some of the groups of escapees only let humans in. But we welcome everyone. And we're dedicated to putting a stop to slavery in Tevinter.

Oh. Yeah? That's good. I mean, that sounds stupid--weak, like--but I mean it, really. Good. It's brilliant that there's a place for anyone to go after escaping. And that's where you were, before Riftwatch--and it'd be easy to go back to it?

Yeah. [ Um. Nervously: ] Is that something...you would fight for? Too? Maybe?

Er-- well, maybe. I might. Yeah. [A little pause before he tacks on, with some uncertainty--] If they'd have me. I know you said it was for anyone, but--that'd be anyone of Tevinter, right, what escaped. Which isn't me. Obviously.

That - We'd definitely have you. It's not - We want anyone who'll fight for us. I mean, you'd have taken non-mages into your group, if they'd been willing to help, right?

Well--yeah. I reckon. [--though he sounds somewhat uncertain.] 'Cos you wouldn't turn away help, would you. Not if it's really needed. It'd be... different. I've only ever fought with mages--I mean, and then Riftwatch, but there's loads of mages here, so.
